ARSC Conference

Information
We had a great showing of vendors at our 2005 Austin
meeting, and we anticipate that the Seattle conference
will be just as well attended, if not more so.
As usual, all coffee breaks will be held in the
exhibit area, as well as the Silent Auction. This
ensures a steady flow of registrants throughout
the conference. Vendors will also be pleased to
note that unlike last year, the Exhibit Room is
located across the lobby from the lecture hall,
meaning that it will not be necessary to try and
hold down the noise level.
Exhibits will be open from Thursday morning through
Saturday afternoon. The room will be staffed during
the day and secured at night.
Books, recordings, and other materials can be exhibited
in a variety of ways.
- Traditional
6' tables are available for publishers and
exhibitors who wish to send representatives.
The cost is $150 for the first table and
$50 for each additional table. The conference
registration
fee is waived for one representative.
- For
publishers who would like to send materials without
a representative, we can set up tables
for you. The books will be sold in the Silent
Auction, with proceeds
going to ARSC. The cost is $100 for a
half table, $150 for a full table and $50 for
each additional
table.
- Publishers
or authors who want to display single books may
do so at a cost of $15 per book.
These books will also be sold in the Silent Auction.
- Businesses
may also purchase advertisements in the official
Conference Program and/or
provide inserts for the conference registration packets.
A
special table will be reserved to display ARSC
members’ publications free of charge.
Exhibiting at the ARSC Conference is an excellent
way to showcase your products and services to archivists,
libraries, sound engineers and collectors. Exhibitors
are also listed in the program and on the web site.
